A teaser bet is one that allows the bettor to actually change the spread of a game to a more favorable one. The catch is the bettor has to connect his game with others (much like a parlay) All the games have to hit for the wager to win. This kind of wager is common in football and basketball and I know guys that only bet these wagers. (They mainly lose because of this strategy. An example would be as follows; Raiders -10, Patriots +3, and the Dolphins +7. After the bet has been "teased" by six points, it would look like this; Raiders -4, Patriots +9 and the Dolphins +13. The risk to win would be at a -110 moneyline so it would look like this, $110 to win $100. I have never been a fan of connecting games but this takes a little risk out of the wager. I still prefer a straight bet to a connector anyday.
