Clemson-LSU Betting Odds & More 1-13-20

College football did it’s job for us this year. It gave us entire Saturdays of games to bet on from September through November and honestly, it was awesome. Tonight, it all ends with what I think is the best National Championship Game matchup that we could have hoped for. There is some reverse line movement in this game which makes it even better. The side looks pretty normal in terms of line movement but the total got weird and it started last night. This is not the only reverse line movement to be aware of though! Let’s do it!

Not to be a prick but if you look at this list and take them all as plays, you are an idiot. You deserve to lose because you are a fool and fools part with their cash. I can’t remember the old saying but the fool and the money. That’s you. This is literally just a list of reverse line movement games. These are the first games you look into when you start YOUR handicapping today. There could be something there. There in nothing there in most cases, just overreactions to players being out or other factors.

What is Reverse Line Movement?

Reverse Line Movement 1-13-20

College Football

  • The Clemson/LSU total has gone from 70.5 to 67.5 despite the over taking in 61% of the early bets. The reverse line movement favors the under. (This could be a textbook example of a head fake!)

NBA

  • The New Orleans Pelicans have gone from -1 to +1 despite taking in 58% of the early bets. The reverse line movement favors the Detroit Pistons.
  • The Charlotte Hornets have gone from +8 to +9.5 despite taking in 78% of the early bets. The reverse line movement favors the Portland Trailblazers.

College Hoops

  • Southern has gone from -1.5 to +1.5 despite taking in 62% of the early bets. The reverse line movement favors Jackson State.
  • Florida A&M has gone from -5 to -4 despite taking in 61% of the early bets. The reverse line movement favors Coppin State.

As always, don’t do anything stupid and try to come away from the book with more money than you went there with. Don’t get cute. And never forget, it’s not gambling if you win!
